Nikolay Tokarev

Previously held positions:
2000—2007 — CEO of the state company Russian foreign economic organisation Zarubezhneft (since 2004 – JSC Zarubezhneft)
1999 — appointed Vice-President of Transneft Joint-Stock Company (OJSC).
Until 1999 — held various positions, including management posts in the exploration crews of the metal mining industry, then in the Administrative Department of the President of the Russian Federation.
Mr Tokarev was born in 1950. In 1973 he graduated from Karaganda Polytechnical Institute majoring in ‘electrification and automation of mining operations’.
Mr Tokarev was awarded the Order of Merit for the Country of IV Degree, Badge of Honour. He was given the titles Honorary Oil-Well Expert of Russia, Honorary Worker Of the Fuel And Energy Complex.
