International business
In September 2010, Novikombank started implementation of complex International Business Program, including three interrelated areas:
- Bank’s positioning on international financial markets (cooperation with international financial institutions);
- Program for financing of bank’s clients external-economic activity via instruments of documentary business;
- External Fund Raising Program.

Due to a wide network of correspondent banks, and long-term experience, Novikombank has great potential for organization of foreign trade financing. The volume of lines opened in favour of the Bank by first-class foreign banks, international financial institutions, export credit agencies totals USD 200 mln.
Among the clients actively using tools of trade finance, are strategic partners of Bank: JSC "AVTOVAZ", V/O TYAZHPROMEXPORT, OJSC "ILYUSHIN Aviation Complex". As of October 1, 2011 trade finance portfolio totaled more than USD 60 mln.
Novikombank has the necessary infrastructure for servicing foreign trade transactions for the clients of Russian and CIS banks. About 15% of international transactions are realized within limits opened in favour of partner banks from Russia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Tajikistan, promoting strengthening and expansion of our cooperation with CIS financial institutions.
In structured finance the Bank has successfully implemented projects (tenor – 5-7 years) insured by Export Credit Agencies Hermes (Germany), EGAP (Czech Republic), OeKB (Austria) and Coface (France).
Fund raising program is realized in two main directions:
- Participation as investor in club loans granted to the Russian and CIS banks (on Lender’s side);
- Attraction of funds from international capital markets (on Borrower’s side).
