Deposits and savings
Please be advised that amendments to the Federal Law ‘On insurance of deposits of individuals in the banks of Russian Federation’ became effective on 14 October 2008. According to the information placed on the website of the Deposit Insurance Agency, the maximum amount of insurance compensation has been increased to 700 thousand roubles with 100% insurance coverage of deposit not exceeding the said amount.
The new limitation of the deposit insurance system only applies to banks that have encountered an insured event since 1 October 2008.
NOVIKOMBANK has been a participant of the obligatory deposit insurance system since 2 December 2004 (Certificate No. 254).
