The President of Novikombank, Ilya Gubin, has been awarded the title of "The Best Russian Banker in 2009". The annual all-Russian competition was held by an Advisory Council under the Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation.
The authoritative jury was impressed by the organizational qualities of Ilya Gubin, his work to ensure funding for key sectors of the Russian economy, as well as the stability and reliability of Novikombank, the dynamics of its development, and the high standard of its customer service.
In addition, the CEOs of leading Russian credit organizations were also announced as the winners of the contest, including VTB Bank President and CEO Andrey Kostin, Russian Agricultural Bank Chairman of the Board and CEO Yuri Trushin, CEO of the CJSC UniCredit Bank Mikhail Alexeyev, CEO of the Rosbank Vladimir Golubkov and others.
